Meet self taught, exceptionally gifted artist Antra Shruti Srivastava from Secunderabad, Andhrapradesh, INDIA
Antra says- I am a self taught artist. I started quite early in childhood as a hobby but doing professionally for last 14 years. Since my husband is from Army, I got enough opportunity to visit remotest of the country side and could gather the actual colors of India through my brush and paint my canvas. Painting is more than a passion for me .I have had opportunity to hold solo exhibitions in many parts of the country from Kohima, Nagaland, Alwar, Rajasthan, Faridkot, Punjab to Hyderabad, from four consecutive years. My work adorns the walls of various Army messes, guest houses, many high officials of Army as well as civils. I specialize and comfortable in all types of paintings but my forte is abstract figurative. My medium is oil on canvas but some times acrylic also.
